Main Stage season ticket holders were invited to an “After Party” with The Ahn Trio and The Kin after their sensational opening night concert. The gracious musicians greeted season ticket holders and posed for countless pictures. An unforgettable way to kick-off our 2009-10 season!
Over 250 local fourth graders from the Bryan and College Station Independent School Districts participated in the 7th annual CAMP OPAS.
This year's camp focused on Latin American Music and Dance with emphasis on two remarkable composers; Astor Pantaleon Piazzolla
and William Grant-Still. Camp activities included storytelling, theatre games, an instrument petting zoo and dance (hosted by students from
the TAMU Dance Dept.) Students were also entertained by Tango pianist Glover Gill. Yesterday's camp concluded with a concert by the
Marian Anderson String Quartet playing a Tango composition.
On Thursday night, April 16, OPAS season ticket holders gathered in
Rudder Theatre to attend the annual season unveiling party -
just one of
the many perks season ticket holders enjoy each year! Party attendees
enjoyed culinary fare by Christopher Lampo
of Christopher's World Grille
and saved 5% off their season ticket order if completing their order at
the "after party!" The season
ticket orders placed at this
event made for the highest grossing first week of sales in OPAS history.
Here are some
snapshots of the event!
All donors to the 2008-09 season were invited to the annual Donor Reception.
This year's event was hosted in the banquet room
of Christopher's World
Grille on Thursday night, February 19. OPAS donors enjoyed complimentary
food catered by
Chef Christopher Lampo and found out how their annual
donation helps OPAS unlock its full potential each and every season.
