Before Pumbaa and Timon, there was the ant and the elephant. The power of the “good deed” lies at the heart of this delightful new family musical with a catchy score by the Tony Award winning team of The Drowsy Chaperone. Based on the book by Bill Peet, one of Walt Disney’s greatest storymen (credits include “Dumbo” and 101 “Dalmatians”), THE ANT AND THE ELEPHANT brings Peet's unique version of this Aesop fable to life on stage through song and dance. The story begins when a tiny ant finds himself in trouble and in desperate need of help. He finds that help (and much more) from an impressively sized new friend in a very high place.
